Town of Evans Police Officer Patrick Herlan was honored at the 100 Club of Buffalo’s 67th Annual Hero Awards Dinner on March 26, 2026, for his actions during a January 8 emergency. According to the 100 Club, Herlan was first to arrive during a life-threatening suicide attempt, intervened immediately, began lifesaving measures, and worked with responding fire and AMR personnel to help stabilize the individual for hospital transport. We are withholding identifying details about the person who received care.
